First PROMS Data Confirms Our Approach

The Dr Lockie Practice has spent considerable effort over tthe past few months implementing PROMS (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) through the Surgical Performance platform.

Additionally Dr Lockie has used  high level of expertise and involvement in local and international Hernia organisations to further develop the Abdominal Hernia-Q questionaire to get more specific hernia related data from the platform.

All surgical patients receive the questionaire, generally at 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 6 months post-op.

Naturally, we get individual data immediately it is collected, which enables us to deal with issues and make improvements to our systems in real time. It gives us a clear insight into what we are doing both surgically and administratively.

Promising Comparative Results

So far, we have been very pleased with our surgical results and we have been able to make some small improvements to some of our systems to ensure the very best of post-operative care.

It was very pleasing then , to get the first batch of statistics which enabled us to compare our surey results to everyone on the Surgical Performance platform.

This shows that Dr Lockie is performing well in comparison with other surgeons.

See below for the results of the 4 areas of the questionaire that are surveyed.

Please note that Dr Lockie's results are on the left of each graphic above "Your Average".
